Set on nearly five private acres in sunny Yakima, Cascade Garden offers a stunning, picture-perfect setting for your event, centrally located within 2.8 miles of the Yakima Air Terminal (YKM). Lush gardens bloom throughout the season, while towering trees provide shade and privacy— creating endless opportunities for unforgettable photos. Families and guests enjoy our spacious parking and a children’s play area, making it perfect for celebrations of all kinds.
Originally established as a retail nursery, Cascade Garden has long been cherished by Yakima Valley residents for its unique charm and welcoming atmosphere. Today, the property has been transformed into a full-service event center, blending natural beauty with thoughtfully designed spaces to host weddings, corporate events, and private gatherings. Our outdoor capacity is 350, with a ceremony area that accommodates up to 300 chairs — making Cascade Garden the ideal backdrop for your special day.
STONE Lodge
At the center of Cascade Garden stands our timber-framed lodge, crafted from old-growth reclaimed lumber and featuring one-of-a-kind details you won’t find anywhere else. From custom stonework and a striking granite fireplace to entire trees built right into the structure, every element is designed to wow. Guests often pause in awe, admiring the spectacular beams and the unique use of materials throughout.
Comfortable year-round, the lodge boasts radiant floor heating in the winter and full air conditioning in the summer, along with a covered patio surrounded by our lush gardens. Even the restroom facilities are thoughtfully designed and truly impressive. For outdoor events, the lodge is typically used for buffet and food service and serves as a perfect “plan B” in case of inclement weather. During spring and fall evenings, it’s ideal for moving your dance indoors if temperatures drop. Our serving kitchen includes ample refrigeration, counter space, and a selection of serving bowls, trays, and utensils. Cleaning supplies, paper towels, and garbage bags are also provided, making setup and cleanup seamless.
For sit-down indoor events, the lodge comfortably accommodates up to 80 guests, with space for your buffet and bar. A sound system with microphones ensures your speeches, music, or announcements are crystal clear.
Cascade Garden also shines during the holidays. Every December, we celebrate in style with a Christmas tree and sparkling lights throughout the grounds, creating a magical seasonal backdrop for your gatherings.
Step outside the stone lodge onto our spacious reception lawn, complete with a covered pergola perfect for large gatherings. Framed by vibrant gardens on one side and a serene grove of white birch trees on the other, the space features festive lighting, natural shade from mature trees, and convenient access to the lodge and our open-air cantina. Sheltered from wind and quietly tucked away, this space offers both privacy and a sense of escape. Picture a true outdoor reception, full of elegance and charm — no tents required.
Ceremony Pavilion
Say your vows in a setting straight out of a fairy tale. Our spacious brick pavilion features a lush bridal arch adorned with greenery, creating a dreamy, romantic backdrop framed by groomed gardens and towering trees that provide natural shade in the afternoon and evening. The pavilion also includes a unique artisan stage for your DJ or musicians, making it perfect for everything from heartfelt ceremonies to lively first dances — all in a magical, storybook setting.
CANTINA BAR
One of Cascade Garden’s most unique architectural features, the Cantina Bar is tucked among the trees with a majestic oak growing through the roof. This open-air bar includes two convenient serving windows and is perfectly situated between the pavilion, lodge, and reception lawn, making it ideal for cocktails, refreshments, and mingling during your celebration.
Shade House
A nod to Cascade Garden’s nursery roots, this grand historic lath house once sheltered shade-loving plants and now offers a magical setting for mingling, cocktail hour, and unforgettable photos. Draped in ancient wisteria with twirling vines and a tiered pond, this cherished space evokes a sense of wonder. The newly paved floor and charming swing create an idyllic backdrop for memorable photos.
GARDEN BRIDAL Suite
Our Garden Suite is a private retreat in a separate building near the front of the property. Originally a standalone beauty salon during Cascade's nursery days, it now offers a complete suite for the bride and bridal party, complete with a full bath, kitchenette, air conditioning, and an indoor waterfall. Bring your hairdresser and makeup artist and get ready in comfort and style. The Garden Suite is ideal for bridal preparations, bridal showers, or small private events.
