We are excited to announce our new FLORAL DIVISION. We will be providing flowers for weddings and events at any location in the Yakima area. Schedule a consultation to reserve your date!
When Leanne applied for an event coordinator position, we felt so lucky to have her join our team. She comes with amazing skills and all the right event instincts. When we discovered that she held extraordinary design talents and extensive floral experience, we decided to launch an entirely new Floral Division here at Cascade Garden! She’s that good! We are sure you will agree that her knowledge of events and design will add value to your wedding.
IN HER WORDS:
Design Aesthetic: Vintage Romantic. I love a bouquet that looks like you walked through a field designing a secret garden of blooms gathered up, for a bride to walk down the aisle with.
Favorite Flowers: Red roses. Those were my wedding flowers, so they are dear to me. There is something about a red rose bouquet that is timeless.
Favorite Wedding Trend: Floral Chandeliers. They are such a statement piece to transform a space and create interest and a focal point.
Super Power: Trend Spotting. I pride myself on being up on the most recent trends for the season, and watching those trends come to life through floral elements that you can look back on years later, and still be happy with.
Madelyn is finishing her degree in Wedding and Event Planning, with an emphasis in Advanced Floral Design. Can you even believe it?? She was referred by a friend to work here last summer to help us out through a busy patch of event supply rentals (AKA extreme dishwashing). She immediately started working with our events and we LOVE her. Turns out this is her dream job and she is a dream to work with.
IN HER WORDS:
Design Aesthetic: Dreamy Whimsical. I love to create the perfect marriage between structure and flow.
Favorite Flower: Peonies. I grew up in a family home surrounded by peonies. The first bouquet I assembled as a little girl was lush peonies encircled with garden flowers.
Favorite Wedding Trend: Large floral installs with an abundance of blooms. From an arch to a head table –it is a show stopper and creates a beautiful
one of a kind back-drop for wedding photos.
Super Power: Creating for versatility. I love to create pieces that can give versatility and provide double duty through a wedding day. Moving an aisle decoration to a reception gets the wedding couple more bang for their buck, and guests get to enjoy a beautiful floral element throughout the entire evening.
